North Stradbroke Island- Tech trip 2025

North Stradbroke Island, also nicknamed ‘Straddie’, is a small subtropical island off the coast of Brisbane, in Queensland. It’s also the world’s second largest sand island where you can experience a diversity of land and ocean wildlife encounters. From koalas, kangaroos, echidnas, wallabies and other land animals to fevers of rays, sharks, groupers and whales migrating north. This island will not disappoint you.

Most of our diving will be done between 30 to 40m and we will be visiting dive sites such as Roaring Deep and Flat Rock.

The “Enchanted Islands” of the Galápagos are found in the Pacific Ocean, 926 kilometres west of Ecuador. The Galápagos archipelago is composed of 13 main islands, 7 smaller islands and islets.

Undoubtedly some of the most spectacular pelagic diving on the planet, the Galápagos Islands are one of those rare places where you can dive through hundreds of hammerhead sharks to find a whale shark cruising along. Silky sharks, sea turtles, giant morays, schooling fish in their thousands, dolphins and other big animals are frequent visitors as well as huge Galápagos sharks, eagle rays and giant oceanic manta rays. Tufi Dive Resort, located in Oro Province, is nestled in a breathtaking fjord with stunning views of the ocean, fjords and mountains.

The adventure begins by flying directly into the island via Tropicair’s private check in at the airport, the views from the plane are out of this world, mountains to one side and ocean on the other. Once we land you will be greeted by their friendly staff and warm weather. The resort includes a terraced bbq area, private pool with views of the fjords, lounge bar and library. The main building is of colonial design surrounded by lush trees, nature and different areas to just relax.
